Gary Allen Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2023, at the age of 79, Gary Allen Smith of Lima, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Smith; his brother Bill; his siblings-in-law, John Muleski, Fred Fassel, Joe McMichael, Ron Dawson, Mike Hirsch and Molly Hirsh; his nephew Shane; and his parents-in-law, Rosemary (Casey) and Bernard Hirsch.

He is survived by: his father Carl Smith; his wife Judy (Hirsch); his granddaughter Madison; his children, Julie (Judi Cicatiello) of Columbus, Chad of Tampa and Stephanie (Jeany Heck) of Columbus; his sisters, Barb Muleski of Cridersville, Veronica McMichael of Spencerville and Debbie Place (Randy) of Wapakoneta; and his siblings-in-law, Marcy Dawson, Gwen Stemen, Norene Fassel, Karen Ganz (Jay) of Arizona, Becky O'Connor (Donny) of Lima, Kathy Smith of Wooster, Denny Hirsch, Larry Stemen and Kevin Hirsch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
