She was predeceased by: her former husband Don Oakes; her husband Walter Shellabarger; her children, David Oakes and Debi Morris; her siblings, Albert Grant, William Grant Jr. and Betty McGuire; and her stepchildren, Paul Shellabarger, Kay Shellabarger and Carla Smith.
She is survived by: her son Dan Oakes (Lise Anne); her stepdaughter Karen Owens; and her grandchildren, Lesley Oakes, Stacy Oakes, Tiffiney Elguera, Jen Mendoza (Ivan), Mindy Rew (Tom), Holly Rogus (Darren Siler) and Jennifer Morris. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church.
