He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Rhine and Mary Rhine (Horstman); his wife Frances Rhine (Pentenburg); his siblings, Wanda Ickes, Kenneth Rhine, Richard Rhine, Walter Rhine and Robert Rhine; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Rhine, Donna Rhine, Jacqueline Rhine, Jan Rhine, Julie Pentenburg, Dorothy Pentenburg, Mary Bowman, Frances Pentenburg, Louise Pentenburg, Joseph Snyder, John Pentenburg, Louis Pentenburg, Carl Bowman, George Pentenburg, Thomas Pentenburg, Daniel Pentenburg, Firman Ruen and Bob Falk.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kyle Rhine (Sarah), Brennan Gaffer, Lauren Stepp and Jefferson Stepp; his great grandchild Emma Rhine; his siblings, Rose Snyder, David Rhine and Paul Rhine (Carmella); his siblings-in-law, Frances Rhine, Jane Falk, Mary Pentenburg and John Ickes; and his close friend Barb Kriegel.
