He was predeceased by: his father Berlie Everett Carroll; his stepfather John S. Bodine, Sr.; and his sister Beckie Stipes. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Jean Bodine (Eggerman) of Lima; and his siblings, Bessie Hawk (Josh) of Montpelier, IN, Shannon Wright (Ric) of Columbus Grove, Sam Bodine (Christy) of Lima and Bill Bodine (Dawn) of Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
