It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude H. Rice of Lima, Ohio, born in Reno, Nevada, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sanford and Myrtle Sanford (Brooks); her husband Ken; and her sister Betty. She is survived by: her children, Ann Rice of Lima, John Rice (Linda Frueh) of Lima, Jean Whitworth (Clifford) of Moundville, Alan Rice (Deborah Olin) of Ivins and Paul Rice (Virginia Sutner) of Lima; and her cousin Wilma Horsely. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
