He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Stelzer and Carrie Stelzer (Gossman); his spouse Beverly A. Stelzer (Youngberg); and his siblings, Vernon, Merle, Marcine and Joan.
He is survived by: his children, David Stelzer (Tammy) of Lima, OH and Jill Brown (Dan) of Springfield, OH; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Stelzer, Heather Stelzer, Jennifer Payton (Jerry), Amy Blair (Chris) and Andrea Dailey (Will); his sister Lorna Emerson (Tom); his sister-in-law Pat Stelzer; and his cousin Dr. Mark McDonald. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society or Veterans Food Pantry.
