He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Ilene Samons; and his siblings, Jerry Stewart (Janet Williams), Carl Samons (Lennie), Ronnie Samons (Phyllis), William Wilcox, Bernice Wood (Roger), Doug Samons and Donny Samons.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edith "Faye" and David Samons of Lima, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Home - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801).
