James Lynn Archer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lynn Archer of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Archer and Mary Archer Thompson (Brown); his brothers, Robert Archer and Joseph Archer; his grandson Randy Thompson, Jr.; his stepfather Charles Thompson; his daughter-in-law Kersten Archer; and his brother-in-law Timothy Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Jo Archer (Moore) of Lima; his children, Laura Thompson of Lima, Randy Thompson of Lima, Penny Graves of Lima, James "Jimmy" Archer, Jr. (Stefanie Preston) of Ohio City, Larry Archer (Holly) of Elida, Mistydawn Shellhammer of Lima and David Moore (Bethany) of Lima; and also, Penny, Larry, James, Misty and Alice Archer. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
