He is survived by: his children, Shannon Olds (Matt) and James Odell Thirkill, II (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Deonte'Olds, Ja'Lynn Olds, James Odell Thirkill, III, Christian Thirkill, Elizabeth Thirkill, Tybalt Thirkill and Kaicen Thirkill; his brothers, Jerry Thirkill (Pam) and George Thirkill; his aunt Jacqueline Jackson; and his close friend Sandra Bell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
