He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale A. Bucher and Alice E. Bucher (Thompson); and his sister Janice Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" L. Bucher (Hughes); his children, Martha L. Hartzog of Yorktown, VA and Darren Bucher (Stephanie) of Lima, OH; his grandchildren, Josh Hartzog (Taylor), Abby Hartzog and Nathan Hartzog; his great grandchildren, Asher and Alice Hartzog; his nephew Adam Snider (Mary) of Lima, OH; and his brother John Bucher (Nancy) of Huntsville, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
