It is with sadness that the passing of Janis Marie Green in Lima, Ohio is shared. Janis, born on November 27, 1940, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frederick and Rose Marie Gaberdiel (Mueller); her brothers, John and Terry Gaberdiel; her parents-in-law, Charles and Marie Green; her siblings-in-law, Gene Wehner, Jim Sterling, Steve Thompson, Terri Schmidt and Becky Green; and her niece Angie Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband William M. Green; her children, Deb Lee (Jim), Sandy Kinstle (Bob), Scott Moell, Tracy Miller (Mark) and Todd Maell (Tatiana); her siblings, Barb House and David Gaberdiel; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Wehner, Janice Ball (Darrell), Marcia Baggs (Terry), Jim Green and Pam Thompson. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 Dixie Hwy, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (101 W Pearl St, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (15176 Wapakoneta Fisher Rd, Wapakoneta, OH 45895).
