Jay left this world on July 10, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Clevenger and Evelyn Mae Clevenger (Pursell); his son David Clevenger; and his brother Tommy Clevenger. He is survived by: his wife Etta Faye Clevenger (Mason); his daughters, Debbie Miller (Cliff) and Dawn Clevenger; his stepdaughters, Missy McBeth (Jeremy) and Heather Raines (Scott); and his siblings, Carole Staver and Ray Clevenger (Ann). He is also survived by three grandchildren and four step grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lima Missionary Baptist Church or Vaughnsville Community Center.
