She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Tribolet and Ruth Tribolet (DuVall); her husband David C. Smith; her brother Larry Tribolet; and her in-laws, Charles and Eldora Smith (Humphreys).

She is survived by: her children, Laura Smith of Lima and Steve Smith (Julie) of Elida; her grandchildren, Alex Dunham (Ryan) of Sunbury, Ashley Reed (Casey) of Lima, Chad Smith of Elida and Carly Long (Trent) of Elida; her great grandchildren, Rowan, Edeline, Ezrah Dunham, Marlee, Lakyn Long, Boston and Benson Reed; and her siblings-in-law, Lowell Smith (Carol) and Shelbyan Tribolet. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
