He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Houx, and Effie Houx, Sr. (Gossard); and his siblings, Lester Houx, Jr. and Gloria Haney. He is survived by: his children, Donald Houx (Monica) of Delphos, Lorraine Argetsinger (Carl) of East Jordan, MI and Jerri Houx of Lima; and his sisters, Patsy Hale (Earl) of Lima and Judith Marinelli (Virgil) of Las Vegas, NV.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
