He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy and Dorothy Belka Sherwin; and his sister Marlene Anette Seaman Owsley (Deanna Kay Smith). He is survived by: his children, Joey Michael Sherwin, Jr. (Salt) and Ariana Sherwin; and his siblings, Carl Wayne Hinton (Veronica), Larry Ernest Seaman (Koneta), Grace Marie Lugibihl (Mark) of Lima, Keith Allen Seaman (Lisa) of Lima, Jane June Groves and Susan Kay Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Foundation.
