He is survived by : his sons, Matthew D. Ward (Kris) of Lima, OH, Brent S. Ward (Shelly) of Lima, OH and J. Troy Ward (Stacy) of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Austin Oehlhof, Chase Ward, Keaton Ward, Joshua Ward, Jennifer Ward, Jacob Ward, Trenton Ward, Chloe Ward and Brayden Ward; his close friend Veronica G. Miller of Lima, OH; his brother Charles R. Ward of Lima, OH.; and also, Austin, Tabitha, Celina and Kathleen Ward. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
