We announce the death of John Holtzapple (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 73. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Holtzapple and Zeta Holtzapple (Allman); and his siblings, Donnie Holtzapple, Kenny Holtzapple, Carol Doll (Tom) and Lori Riley.
He is survived by: his son Kenny Holtzapple; his granddaughter Emma; his sister Marilyn Hamilton (Harold); his brother-in-law Jeff Riley; and his close friend Rita Hubbard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
