He was predeceased by: his mother Caroline Heise; and his brother Richard McKinley. He is survived by: his close friend Pamela Wilson; his son Justin McKinley of Muncie, IN.; his stepchildren, Jody Wilson (Randi), Crystal North, Tiffany "Grace" Reynolds, Roger Reynolds, Sarah Voght and Heather Herron (Justin); and his siblings, Ann McKinley (Dave Smith) of Lima, Roberta "Robin" Amstutz (Mike) of Harrod and Sam Heise (Wendy) of Toledo. He is also survived by fifteen stepgrandchildren, seven step great-grandchildren.
