We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2022, at the age of 89, Joseph L. Hancock of Lima, Ohio, born in Sidney, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Lavern 'Rusty'; and his sister Luetta Ballenger. He is survived by: his children, Michael Hancock of Lima, Patrick Hancock (Lynn) of Independence, KY, Timothy Hancock of Deer Lodge, Montana, Shirley Mertz (Michael) of Sidney and Theresa Morlock (Walter) of Edon, OH. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
