Joyce Howell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Howell (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Raymond and Mary Catherine Sneary (Morman); her spouse Byron William "Bill" Howell; and her sisters, Susan Follas and Toni Danser.

She is survived by : her daughters, Julie Scott (Tony Gilroy) and Janis Ralston (Ted); her stepchildren, Blake Howell, Michael Howell and Jolene Smith (Jason); her grandchildren, Megan, Tony (Liz), Emily, Amanda (Dustin), Katelyn (Nick), Logan, Brittany, Chloe, Baron, Ava, Austyn, Koby (MaKayla) and Colin (Nevaeh); her pets, Bella and Gunner; her brother Thomas Sneary (Deb); and her brothers-in-law, Larry Follas and Stan Danser. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

David & Linda Allen wrote a sympathy message

“Joyce and I were first cousins and grew up together only a block apart. Our families were very close and frequently visited and enjoyed outings to recreation venues. Joyce and I double dated on occasion and she was friends with my wife Linda. She was also Maid of Honor at our wedding in 1962. Linda and I were shocked to hear of her passing and offer our condolences to her family David & Linda Allen San Antonio, Texas”
