Karen Sue Oglesbee Obituary
We announce the death of Karen Sue Oglesbee (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 83. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Oglesbee (Butch); her parents, Homer Buetner and Naomi Buetner (Laman); her son Jaden Layne Oglesbee; and her siblings-in-law, Dave Davis, Jack Oglesbee, Herb Oglesbee, Ginny Weisling, Marlene Gagnon and Ann Spencer.
She is survived by: her son Chad Oglesbee (Tina); her grandchildren, Angie Evans (Kevin Bockey), Katie Oglesbee, Brandon Evans (Jennifer), Kayla Allison (Nick), Levi Oglesbee, Samantha Kennedy (Casey), Andrew Cole and Gabriel Tijerina; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Addison, Jordan, Chey, Dakota, Savannah, Levi, Scarlet, Cayden, Cambri, Cali, Lincoln, London, Chloe and Emilee; her siblings, Brad Buetner (Joyce) and Kathy Davis; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Oglesbee and Ruth Oglesbee. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lima Community Church (2945 N Cole St, Lima, OH 45801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
