She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Riley and Minerva Irene Vermillion Lawrence; her son Jason C. Gross; and her siblings, Darwin R. Lawrence and Greta I. Sammetinger.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, Thomas M. Weakland of Lima and Christine M. Raines of Georgia; her daughter Amy Chontos of Wapakoneta; her grandchildren, Rachel Kanady (Jacob), Whitney Garmatter (Josh) and Logan Gross; her great grandchildren, Brayden Sexton and Ace Garmatter; her sister Patricia L. Young (John) of Ontario, Canada; and her niece Joyce Perrine of Lima. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
