He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene and Mary Catherine Metz (Thompson); and his brother Robert Metz. He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. May of Lima; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Martz (LaDoyt) of Lima, Nancy Drummond of St. Marys and RuthAnn Rumple (Randy) of Rockford; and his sibling's children, Heather Bachman (Rick) and Eric Martz (Joy).
