He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Cleo Melton (Myers); and his sister Joanne Davis. He is survived by: his father Ben Melton; his children, Monica Ann Stoodt (Edward) of Lima and Kenneth Ben Melton of Lima; and his grandsons, Benjimen Melton-Cook and Nathaniel Stoodt.
