He is survived by: his wife Daisy Miller Gilbert; his children, Melinda Kay Wicker (Matt) of Largo, FL, Michael Gilbert of Cloverdale and Jason Gilbert (Emily) of Columbus; and his siblings, Linda Heitmeyer (Ken Muter) and Dwight Shrider (Lisa). He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
