He was predeceased by: his mother Frances I. Allen (Drake); his son Leslie Allen Jr.; and his sisters, Debra Shade and Melissa Cambell. He is survived by: his father Oren J. Allen; his wife Edith F. Allen (Samons); his children, David Allen, Jennifer Monie and Donna Allen; his stepchildren, Naomi Sullivan, Melissa Jones (John McDonald), Lavonna Moore (Grant), Tammy Williams and Thomas Williams; and his siblings, Matt Allen, Diane Sidewell, Mike Allen and Oren Allen. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 step- great grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805).
