It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Faye Davis of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Cleveland Shurelds Sr. and Dora Shurelds (Amerson); her husband James Edward Davis; and her son-in-law Al V. Kelley. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Davis of Dallas, TX, Timothy Davis of Huber Heights, OH, Stephanie Kelley of Lima, OH, Kimberly Davis of Lima, OH and Harriet Carter (Jason) of Lima, OH; her stepdaughters, Terry Richardson of Cleveland, OH and Mary Lyons of Detroit, MI; her brother Robert Shurelds (Lynn); her grandchildren, Justin, Evyn, James, Tristan, Jantzen, Ta'Lor, Ashley, Devin, Dorian, Emily, Indaya and Eden; and her siblings, L. V. Shurelds, Willie C. Shurelds II, Waydell Shurelds, Ruby Smith, Katie Simpson and Lucille Jefferson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
