He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hites and Mary "Marie" Hites (Taylor); and his sisters, Pam Craft and Carol Lugabihl. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hites (Hammons) of Lima; his children, Wes Hites (Tammy) of Lima, Jason Hites of Columbus Grove, Dustin Hites (Danielle Schwiebert) of Lima, Jerrilyn Hites (Roger Downs) of Lima and Becky Martin (Bill) of Harrod; his grandchildren, Taylor, Danielle, Josh, Shaelyn, Tara, Julianna, Jaxson, Kaitlyn and Jocelyn; his great grandchildren, Caley, Kendall, Kadi, Caleb, Jaelyn, Sunny and Palmer; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Craft and Jim Lugabihl. He is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.
