He is survived by: his children, Gina Schmiesing, Brian Schmiesing (Trisha), Rob Schmiesing (Krystal), Eric Bantner, Justin Schmiesing and Denver Schmiesing; and his siblings, Tim Schmiesing (Kay), Denny Schmiesing (Becky) and Brenda Spieles (Doug). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
