She was predeceased by: her parents, Lortin Martin and Aladee Martin (Hansboro); her husband Edward Parker Whitfield; and her siblings, Vera Crowder, Mary Woods, Minnie Webster, Hattie Bell Forest, Merdine Martin, Johnny Martin and Lortin Martin Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Whitfield and Donovan Whitfield; and her granddaughters, Dorinda Johnson and Malinda Whitfield. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home (506 N Cable Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
