He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Hopkins and Marie Hopkins (Held) of Defiance; and his parents-in-law, Karl and Patricia Laemmle (Crouse) of Van Wert, Ohio.. He is survived by: his wife Terri Hopkins (Laemmle) of Lima, Ohio; his daughters, Katie Westfall (Michael) of Springfield and Nicki Gliot (Dan) of Fishers, Indiana; his brother Tom Hopkins (Barb) of Defiance, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Karlson Westfall, Rex and Hadley Gliot.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
