She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel L. Bankston, and Corrine Bankston, Sr. (Cook); her daughter Irvamae Upshaw; her siblings, Nathzolla Gurley, Elena Williams, Mattie Bankston, Rochelle Bankston, Hildegard Bankston, Olean Jenkins, Corinth Bankston, Nathanial Bankston and Benjamin Bankston; and her brothers-in-law, Luscious Upshaw, Sr., Frank Upshaw, Matthew Upshaw, Ralph Upshaw, Legusta Upshaw, Johnny L. Upshaw and Roosevelt Upshaw.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Marva C. Stackhouse of Lima; and her son William Cain, Jr. (LaJoyce) of Columbus, OH.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. (1302 Oakland Pkwy, Lima, OH 45805). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
