Though Merdine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Merdine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Latin Martin, and Aladee Martin, Sr. (Hansborough); and her siblings, Latin Martin, Jr., Johnny Martin, Vera Crowder, Minnie Webster, Mary Woods and Hattie Bell Forest.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Martin of Lima, Glenda Ball of Lima and Maureen Ball of Lima. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
