He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Caprella and Rose Caprella (Fowler); his wife Brenda Caprella (Gottfried); his daughter Tammy L. Hallard (Mike); his siblings, Virginia Blair (Floyd), Sam Caprella Jr. (Nancy), Johnny Caprella and Larry Caprella; his grandsons, Zane and Zachary Lacy; and his in-laws, Dick and Darlene Gottfried.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela A. Vickers (Edward) of Lima, Michael J. Caprella (Lori) of Lima and Carmen M. Lacy (Tim) of Urbana; his grandchildren, Nick Caprella (Tabby Luchini), Michelle Allison (Zach), Jared Caprella (Megan), Michael Vickers (Stephanie), Dalton Lacy (Alexa) and Trischa Lacy; his great grandchildren, Dominick, Reagan, Witten, Zane, Vincent, Dax, Gemma, Jaxson, Stella, Harrison and Anna; and his sister Deb Caprella. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
