He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James and Olivabelle Cruson (Esterline); his wife Evelyn Eileen McDaniel; his son Jeffrey R. Cruson; and his stepchildren, Judith Pulfer, Brenda Hawk, Eddie McDaniel, Michael McDaniel, Terry McDaniel and Ricky McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Cruson, Stephen Cruson and Angela Shirk (Richard); his stepsons, Freddie McDaniel (Jeannine), Randall McDaniel (Kim) and Danny McDaniel (Lisa); his grandchildren, Olivia, Paul, Eric and Alexandra; his great grandchildren, Orion and JJ; and his sister Carmela Story (Bill). He is also survived by 34 step grandchildren; 61 step great grandchildren and 19 step great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bayliff & Son Funeral Home (311 W Main St, Cridersville, OH 45806). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
