Norman R. Newfer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman R. Newfer of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norman R. Newfer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold F. Newfer and Wanda N. Newfer (Rutledge); his wife Della Rae Livenspire; and his brothers, Donald and Walter Newfer.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Sarchet (Patrick) of Lima and Jeffrey Newfer (Kimberly) of Cridersville; his grandsons, Zachary Newfer (Carrie), Joshua Sarchet (Aimee), Caleb Sarchet (Amanda) and Seth Sarchet; his great grandchildren, Adeline Newfer, Max Sarchet, Arlo Sarchet, Jett and Phoebe Sarchet; and his siblings, Gary Newfer (Sally) of Belle Center, Nina Monroe (Melvin) of Lima and Barbara Brown of Harrod.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bayliff & Son Funeral Home (311 W Main St, Cridersville, OH 45806). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lima Baptist Temple.
