She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shymkiv and Molly Shymkiv (Pityn). She is survived by: her husband Larry J. Rode; her children, Natalie Grothause (Jason) of Ludington, MI, Kristin Spicer (Melvin) of Newark, OH and Nicholas Rode (Nichole Spore) of Dover, OH; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Brynn, Olivia, Rory, Cody and Austin.
