He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Fenton and Mary Pauline Dawson Sr. (Phegley); his son Joshua Edgar Dawson; and his brothers, Jesse LeRoy Samford and John William Samford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Michelle DaSilva of Phillipsburg, NJ, Laura Ann Dawson of Lima and Holly Marie Dawson of Texas; and his siblings, William Andrew Dawson (Henry Ray Dawson) of Texas and Mary Pauline Dawson of Australia. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Angel Warriors or the Alzheimer's Association.
