The memory of Richard A. Doty of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on May 6, 2026 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charles Doty; his stepmother Dixie Doty; his sister Mary; his wife Valerie; and his granddaughter Olivia.

He is survived by: his children, Amy Doty (Kevin) of Wapakoneta, Jamie Staup (Eli) of Lima, Jennifer Schaub (John) of Lima, Chad Jamison (Amber) of Lima and Chris Jamison (Megan) of Alger; his siblings, Tim Doty (Kathy) of New Hampshire, Chuck Doty (Sally) of Wapakoneta, Todd Doty (Patty) of Sedro-Wooley, WA and Frances Bowsher (Scott) of Harrod; and his former wife Terri Marchal (Tom). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion (214 S Wagner Ave, Wapakoneta, OH 45895).
