He was predeceased by: his father Richard L. Hefner,; his son Kenneth A. Hefner; and his sister Mary Goodwin. He is survived by: his son Mark Hefner of Tacoma, WA; and his sisters, Anne Patton (Tom) of Findlay and Cyndie 'Dutch' O'Bryant (Terry) of Cumming, GA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
