He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Lott and Rosanna Lott (Gordon); his great grandchild Aaden; his siblings, Betty Langan, Alice Luna, Larry Lott, Jeanne Reeder, Jim Lott and Gracie Lott; his siblings-in-law, Danny Stratton, Robert Stratton (Donna), Rosie Purdy and Ron Stratton; and his parents-in-law, William and Fairy Stratton (Phillips).

He is survived by: his wife Connie J. Lott (Stratton); his children, Jodi Lott of Lima, OH, Richard Lott (Monica) of Lima, OH and Ian Lott (Chelsea) of Lima, OH; his grandchildren, Chelsea Thomas, MaKylee Lott, Ian Lott Jr., Reighlyn Lott, Gunnar Lott and Adleigh Lott; his great grandchildren, Camden, KaMyah and Jaxen; his brothers, Mike Lott of LaPorte, IN, Gilbert "Gib" Lott and Timothy "Biggie" Lott of Lima, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Vickie Lott, Don Stratton (Verna) of Lima, OH, Deborah Hamlin of Lima, OH and Barb Stratton of Lima, OH..
