With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert E. Jacobs Sr. (Lima, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Jacobs and Barbara Jacobs (Mayo); his grandsons, Isaac Dunifon and Baby Dunifon; his brother Paul Jacobs; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Jacobs, Candi Jacobs and Bud Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Barb" Jacobs (Bolender) of Lima; his children, Christina Burden (Steve) of Rineyville, KY, Robert E.'Bobby'Jacobs, Jr. of Saint Marys and Victoria "Vicky" S. Dunifon (Timothy) of Lima; his grandchildren, Stephen Burden, Sarah Burden, Seth Burden, Hailey Jacobs, Timothy Dunifon (Abby), Hannah S. Dunifon, Savannah Dunifon and Kaleb Dunifon; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Emilee, Noah, Paislee, Mailee and Everleigh; his siblings, Charlie Jacobs (Kathy), Terry Jacobs and Shawna Springer Davis; his siblings-in-law, Audrey Bolender, Patty Gordon (Mark), Janet Downey (David), Judy Gambrel and David Bolender; and his pet Joy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
