He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert W. Potts, Sr. and Phyllis Pottts (Noneman). He is survived by : his siblings, Thomas J. Potts (Elida) of Toledo, OH, Patricia Potts (Rodney Rupp) of Newark, OH and Catherine Davis (Darrell Traxel) of Ft. Wayne, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions may be made to either The Wounded Warriors Project or to the Lima Rescue Mission.
