Mayes (Lashawnda Walker) of Detroit and Carla T. Dukes of Columbus, Ohio; his daughter Serenity Tru'Royalty Mayes of Lima, Ohio; his siblings, Leslie Gumm, Malik Mayes, Lamarion Oneal, Janae Dukes, Kamaya Moncrief, Kalon Moncrief, Jalehia Walker and Jalaiah Holloway; his grandparents, Steven L. Dukes, Linda K. Dukes and Crystal King; his aunts and uncles, Erica Dukes-James, Vanessa Sears-Mayes, Jermaine Dukes and Antoin Dukes; his godmother Aretha Glenn (Justice Glenn); his brother Steven Edwards II; and his cousin DeAndre "Dino" Mayes. He is also survived by loving cousins who shares a close-knit sibling.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (110 W 11th St, Lima, OH 45804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
