It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Huffman of Lima, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Aloys J.; her husband Lawrence S. Huffman; her son Nicholas Martin Huffman; and her sisters, Mary E. Wyen, Rita Martin and Alvira Marburger.
She is survived by : her children, Lawrence A. Huffman (Patricia) of Lima, Kathleen A. Ferry (Tom) of LaGrange, Ohio, Michael J. Huffman (Mary Ann) of Mason, Ohio, Matthew C. Huffman (Sheryl) of Lima, Daniel P. Huffman (Debra) of Lewisburg, Ohio, John C. Huffman (Ruth) of Lima, Joan M. Gallagher (Ed) of Cleveland and Thomas W. Huffman (Kelly) of Lima. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A vigil service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (2200 W Elm St, Lima, OH 45805).
