He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dale and Vivian Maxine Caster (Morrison); his daughter Michelle Lynn Caster; his great grandchild Jackson Alger; and his siblings, Ronald Caster (Mag) and Sandra Morse (Dave).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Caster (Icenogle) of Cairo; his children, Tammy Joy (Gale) of New Lebanon, Stan Caster, Jr. (Melissa) of Lima and Stephen Caster (Sarah) of Delphos; his grandchildren, Jonathan Zimmerman (Camela), Amanda Nicole Jackson (Kelly), Aaron Joy (Kris), Starr Joy, Ashley Nicole Alger (Kacey), Danielle Lynn King (Race), Stephen E. Caster II (Emily) and Abby Caster; and his sister Rhonda Dales (Greg). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren (4950 N Thayer Rd, Elida, OH 45807). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
