She was predeceased by: her mother Carolyn J. Ruben (Cash); and her brothers, Rick Crites and Gary Crites. She is survived by: her father Clair C. Crites; her husband Craig A. Hoffer; her daughters, Sarah Ley (Cory) of Lima, OH, Sherry Hoffer of New Orleans, LA and Amanda McKercher of Lima, OH; her grandchildren, Jacob Ley, Anna Ley, Cara Ley, Chase McKercher and Lewis Cheney Jr.; her sisters, Cindy Crites Mazza of Bradenton and Laura Beth Ruben of Mexico; and her stepfather Barry Ruben.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
