He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve Hellman; and his siblings, Lawrence, Amos, Neil, Raymond, Frances Karhoff, Adelia Schmitz, Lucinda Wehri, Rita Elwer, Emma Becker and Marcella Karhoff.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha of Irvine, CA, Gayle Schild (Dale) of Cincinnati, Sandra Bindel (Randy) of Cridersville, Alan of Brecksville, Mary Jo Moots (Kevin) of Lima and Daniel (Deb) of Canal Winchester. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.
