He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Thomas and Elsie Loretta Fazel (Williams); his son Mark Fazel; his grandson Douglas Sproull; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Bridges (Chad) and Michael Heighton; his siblings, Vivian Thorington (Roger), Dawnene Fazel, Jeneva Wirey (Gene), Byron Fazel and Gilbert Fazel; and his brother-in-law Lewis Degen.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Marilla Fazel (Hoffman); his children, Dale Fazel (Pam), Dena Heighton (Peter) and Virginia Bohn (Mark); his daughter-in-law Marie Fazel; his grandchildren, Ryan Fazel (Courtney), Melissa Anderson Mitchell, Aaron Anderson, Seth Anderson, Brittany Bohn, Jesse Crawford (Andrea) and Leanne Crawford; his stepgrandchildren, Krista Payne (Bryan) and Robert McClintock (Miranda); and his sister Agnes Degen. He is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren.
