She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hilyard and Martha "Marty" Hilyard (Fanshier); her son James Hartzog; her granddaughter Breauna Hartzog; and her siblings, Douglas Hilyard, Kathleen Albertson and Marty Lou Hilyard.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Hartzog, II of Wapakoneta and Jon Hartzog (Jessica) of Wapakoneta; her grandchildren, Jon Hartzog, II, Mariah Hartzog, Ashley Hartzog, Logan Hartzog, Gary Hartzog, III, Dylan Hartzog, Tessa Hartzog, Caleb Hartzog, Toree Hartzog, Audrey Hartzog, Porter Hartzog and Paxton Hartzog; her great grandchildren, Michael, Greyson, Carter and Jason; her siblings, John Hilyard of Lima, Ed Hilyard of Lima, Jay Hilyard (Brenda) of Lima and Rhody Peterson of LaPorte, IN; her sister-in-law Patricia Goings of Sidney; and her K-9 friend Diva. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801).
